Gina

Gina Taylor MS, OTR/L, HPCS is a New Jersey licensed occupational therapist who believes in the power of animals and nature to help children and their families make progress one stride at a time.  Her vision inspiring Epona Therapy Services to provide nature-based occupational therapy services in New Jersey and career consulting  and nature based training for occupational therapy clinicians around the world.

Gina is a wife, mama to three littles, adjunct professor in occupational therapy and a business owner.  In this podcast she shares her passion about all things nature, expertise with animals in occupational therapy and support for other OT students and clinicians who want a career outside the box.

Ryan

Ryan is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and lover of all things water.  His is the Director of Aquatics for Epona Therapy Services and a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard.   In addition to being a COTA, Ryan is a United States Marine Corps veteran – an experience which provided him with extensive training in the water and outdoors activities such as land navigation, survival in desert and cold-weather mountain environments, hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. He brings these skills to his OT sessions to help his clients achieve their highest potential. 

As co-host, Ryan, is happy to share his love and knowledge of aquatic therapy and explore how aquatics and nature-based occupational therapy can extend far beyond the typical fine motor skills.
